FUCK YEAH WHORE!

Some of you may know that I love love love my horror films. Frighteningly so, well at least to my former shrink who does not want to be in the same room with me without his supervisor present. Yeah like I'm going to bust out a chainsaw and start slicing the bitch. Anyhoo, I have been working with the fine writer and great friend Jimbo James Anthony over at Fuck Yeah Horror where i give my two cents and then some on my movie collection and opinions on the genre so dealy loved by many.

The site has gone through a reboot all while jimbo also doubles as a refferee to London'd Roller Derby. He's got alot on his plate and was impressed with the reboot and I am sure that there is plenty of ideas he's scoping out to give the site a grand push. Complete with pictures, previews and reviews from his stable staff writers including me, the site is still in ythe process of growing so make sure to check it out. as well as my review on Galaxy Of Terror and the notorius Maggot Rape Scene.

I do enjoy writing for him as he just lets me ramble and then edits what I put down for you all to enjoy. Plus that dude is always a blast to hang with and throw a few drinks back with. The can hold his own against me and that's really saying something.

Sullivan

I came across Ryan Sullivan, whom is a film maker whose made waves with his films with Treasure Island and his ability to tell a story about himself and his estranged brother in a haunting and striking way. It's not for everyones taste, yet what is so touching is his brutal honesty and his ability to put him and his brother out there in a medium that is often edited on a more biased effort. He steers clear of those trapings and tells the story through a series of montages and visuals backed with some excellent choices of music. I am pretty impressed, and it takes a bit to impress me.

Let me know what you think? Or better yet tell him what you think. JUst so you know, there is lots of Booty on display so you probably shouldn't be watching this at work, but then again why not.

Pop On UP!

I bitch, I moan and I will always complain. Hell Yeah I said it, and god damn it I will type it again. But when I shut up, it's magic. St. Barnibus sings and a flurry of seraphim's join in a choir. This especially happens at the movies. Now I love the movie going experience, but I hate people sitting next to me and bogarting the arm rest. I know, How Rude! Especially since I was here first. So I have my modus operandi in how to get those pesky shrill people away from my seat, So if you see my mouthing the words to La Bamba coming down the aisle with my pop corn and splendour, be warned.

I am happy that summer season in London always gets me in a more novel mood to something different. Stuff like being nice, saying hello to strangers, or not run over small children with my bike. There is something that gets me feeling the summer vibe and places a smile on my rhinoceros black leather heart. So it brought a smile to my face when I found out about the Pop Up Cinema in Portobello virtually staggering distance from my house. Showing the finest in independent cinema, block busters, and cutting edge cinema will house the Notting Hill Film Festival this year. Virtually using the same space as last years One Foot In The Grove by Mutate Britain.

Entry is a pay what you can afford basis, yet is suggested that if you can pay a £4.00 for a donation, it's still better than going to a multi plx filled with fucking brats talking on there mobile phones during a film. Next week is a double bill of The Sex Pistols Documentary w/ Who The Fuck Is Pete Doherty. Being that I know Pete, I will say he's a lovely guy, simply lost. So I may give that one a miss. Upcoming Feature I would love to see is Cinema Pardiso which will be the closing film of the Summer Of Love theme running this month at the Pop up. The pop Up will be running till the end of October and is under the Westway Just across from Portobello Green. Do check it out if you can.

Sex And Guts!

Bruce La Bruce is a funny guy and his latest opus finds a schizophrenic Francios Sagat spreading his zombie VD around the basin of Los Angeles like a Hilton on a friday night at Club HYDE. Bruce's films have featured in most cinematic events, that promote themselves with laurel leaves and pass out decent booze, all while calling them gala's. Nice work if you can get it. L. A. Zombie mixes sex and guts to those whom crave it in their films Directed by Bruce and prodiuced by Dark Alley and Wurstfilm. The film features hardcore gay actors and the acting for the most part is a bit shit. But let's be real here, you really can't keep in character when you got a dick in your mouth and a zombie probing you anally from behind now can you? A hardcore version is to be release and the film has been recently banned from screening in an Australian film festival due to not being granted a film classification. Ironically the banned version is the soft core version. I mean really if your gonna ban something, how about banning the music that that ass hole Peter Wentz, Taylor Momson, or My Chemical Romance put out. Still, putting a ban on a flaccid penis, how rude. But here is a little taste.

Moments That Shaped Me 123.

When I am was a little kid, I had a deep adoration for all things rock album art, and spent my pocket money on my most treasured belongings at the time. Then I turned 10 and my parents bought me a pinball machine, and I was obsessed with the game. When I learned about the movie Tommy by The Who, I so desperately wanted to see it. Yet I was jock blocked by the very woman I would come to know as my mother. Damn you woman! She reasoned that the movie was full of sex drug and rock n' roll and that I was to young. Those three words rang on my ears, and only spurred me on to see this midnight show. Yet I had to other dilemma's that made my plight ever more of a bitch. I didn't drive and the movie was only being shown at midnight. Video was to damn expensive and not the same as the movie experience. My cousin saw it and told me I would love it, and said it was about a boy whom played pinball. Sex, drugs, rock n' roll, and pinball, I was sold. So now two years passed and I was at the malleable age of 12.

Lucky for me parents went to bed quit early and I planned with a friend whom had a much older brother. His brother said he would take us to the midnight showing, but we had to buy our own tickets. My plan of escape the house bath room window led out to the driveway for an easy exit and quick get away. And to South Coast Plaza Cinema to see Tommy! In the parking lot I had my very first beer to myself. I was in Heaven. I loved the movie and never was a huge fan of The Who, but I loved the music. Coming back I was faced with the problem of getting back into the house. So scaling the wall of the house I mad enough noise still drunk from the beer that my mother caught me with my body hanging out the bathroom window, while my legs flailed outside. She stared at my in her curlers saying, go to bed, then closing the bathroom door behind her.

My mother grounded me for two weeks and took the stereo out of my room. Was it worth it. Fuck Yeah! To this day I still love this movie.

Logan!

French Comic Artist Logan does some pretty cool comics. Covering everything from Superheroes, Police men, Demons, and chubby Guys, to my assistants favourite type of men, Bears. (Yes Ben, I am looking at you) I like that most of his work does incorperate tattoos in them. That said, the tattoos are actually pretty good. I think the dude should draw some flash! Some comic artists draw some fucking shit tattoos on their subjects, but Logan has it down pat. I am not sure he has a tattoo, Yet I have been known to two a few of his men on my clients. Which is always fun to do and take my time in doing them as I want to get the exact essence of the artwork to make the same impact. God, I feel like Banky from Chasing Amy. I got your tracer hanging with snacks underneath.

Great Cat Fights In Cinematic History

Well, at least in my history. I don't like to think of myself as an aggressive person. Yet I do love to watch a fight, especially girl fights. Let's face it, men love it when women get straight down to the get down. So today at Henry Hate Headquarters we are having a beat down today with hoochie strippers (ahh bless) and female assasins (god love em). I think it is true that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. So I bring you two of my favorite scenes from The Players Club and Kill Bill Vol. II. The last fight I had I was accused of physical assault and battery, when the motherfucker came looking for me, of all places at my business. Let's just say I won't have any more problems from that dick head and his bullshit drug fueled ratarded antics anymore. Enjoy!

Love This Woman!

What happens when you take the amazing Polly Jean Harvey's "Maniac" and on fantastical Jean Genet's Un Chant D'Amour filmed in 1950. Pure genius that what. If you would like to see Jean Genet's film in it's actual entirety simply click here.

Fuck Yeah Again!

I write for another blog from time to time and I enjoy the hell out of it. Fuck yeah I do. Jimbo a good friend and client/drinking buddy edits my jammering, and directs the site so it's his baby. He unlike me is a professional journalist, me I am a drop out. journo of the drunk kind. A writer wrties, a good writer drinks and great writers find there ass's at the foot rest of the bar. So At the moment I have to new entries Over at Fuck Yeah Horror, and I am most proud of them. Some people really get all religious about the horror genre and to me I can never take it seriously cause its a fictional movie. But I have listed my Top Ten Horror Rock and Roll Movies Of All Time along with a review of Rec; 2. Opposed to fucking Bloody Disusting, those assholes and tools don't know the difference between a Monster and a fucking Serial Killer/Psycho. Another treat is my review of underated movie Race With The Devil. It may make you laugh or may make you dislike me more, either way just go and check it out. Leave a comment or hit us up with a film you would like to see reviewed.

Hawt Bitch!

Classic Scene I swear this movie to me never gets old.. Here's a classic scene. Of course when I used to re-inact this in the school yards the teachers would always look at me funny. Enjoy. Zane Buzby was a great comedy character actress who just didn't do enough movies.

Why Do They Do This?

I never saw the film Factory Girl as I was a rabid Andy Warhol buff and kneeled at the church that is Edie Sedgwick. When Lou Reed said it was basically a piece of shit I had to concur. Why argue with Lou Reed, made sense to me. So I find myself at the road of uncertainty with the new Runaways bio flick. Ok, one: todays kids don't listen to The Runaways or know who Cherie Currie is. Secondly: I have a problem with Dakota Fanning, as most films I have seen her in shown on cable suck Rhinoceros dicks. Sacrilege. I love Joan Jett but make with the rug munch and lets get the show on the road. I love the Runaways and seeing that Lita Ford, Jackie Fox, nor Mikki Steel the original line up were not involved, and the bassist in the film is a fictionalised version, that is it for me. To be fair I love most of Floria Sigismondi's video and photographic work, but I am still unsure.

I would say watch The Mayor Of Sunset Strip to get a better idea and read Cherie Currie's book Neon Angel. Michael Steel didn't really want to be part of the slutty jail bait ideology, so she split. I would only be interested how they make Kim Fowley look, as there are tall tales in many a tome about this man. So in ode to this great band I will play my favourite song Dead End Justice. If you want to know what is going on with Cherie Currie, well she made Foxes opposite Jodie Foster and morphed into a Chainsaw Chick .

Shopocalypse!

Get into the spirit of things and watch these movies. All though I really don't believe in Jesus I found this film three years ago and loved it. I can't wait for the third instalment of the Zeitgeist film.

My Current Mood!

This is how I am feeling at the moment. Stressed beyond fucking belief. Ain't you lucky I don't have a gun. Cause it would be some serious Black Gay Rage up in this mother fucker.
